Colour Play: Inlay and Hand Building Workshop

Love colour and clay? This handbuilding workshop is made for you. You'll craft a functional piece as we experiment with richly coloured stoneware and explore the art of inlaying — pressing coloured clay with playful patterns and bold hues into rolled clay. Whether you make a cup, bowl, or vase, you’ll leave with a unique piece that’s both expressive and practical.
What you will create

A hand-built keep cup, small bowl, or vase.

  • 3hrs
  • Unit 3, number 5 Hydro Rise, Bibra Lake WA
  • Includes

    Stoneware clay, tools, glazing and firing. Firing of 2 small pieces max.

    Coffee, tea and morning tea provided.

  • Experience

    Beginner
    No experience required.

  • Bring

    Nothing. An apron and towel will be provided.

  • Wear

    Clothes that can get dirty – this class is hands-on.

    Closed shoes are essential.

  • Collection of work

    Students will be emailed when their work is ready for collection (all work must be collected within 2 weeks of being notified).
