This vase has a modern, dynamic tapering shape enhanced by the Nerikomi design that wraps around the form beautifully. Each Nerikomi inlay is unique and is affected by the movement created during the inlaying process.
Unique and timeless
Composition: A rich, reddish-brown mid-fire clay with a Nerikomi inlay consisting of various clays, colours and stained clays. The inside is glazed with a clear glaze, while the outside is left unglazed to accentuate the delicate Nerikomi design. The unglazed areas have been treated with a liquid Quartz to ensure it is stain-proof.
