The dome shape of our Kaya cone incense burners is inspired by traditional African huts or Kayas, meaning “restful place”. These cone incense holders are wheel-thrown with a dome that fits neatly into a gallery in the tray base. The outer gallery in the base contains breathing gaps so oxygen can be drawn in while the cone smoulders.
A perfect little gift with a character of its own
Composition: Smooth, cream stoneware. Unglazed on the outside with small marbled streaks of stained clay. The inside of the dome and tray base is glazed in satin white.
